marine assistance organization. We have a strong presence across the US, including inland
lakes, as well as a growing
international presence.
Sea Tow offers you “Peace of Mind on the Water”™, by providing you with unparalleled (unlimited) towing coverage. You can be assured of priority service when you need assistance on the water, because we tow members first! Although we do offer fee-for-service assistance to non-members, it is only when we are not currently engaged in servicing our members. YOU are our number one priority!
Sea Tow Eastern Connecticut
Joe McGuinness took over Sea Tow Eastern Connecticut as Owner and Captain in the year 2000.
At the time, we had 980 members, one full-time Owner/Captain, two part time captains and two
single engine 22-foot Boston Whalers which functioned in running the entire area. We have
come a long way since then.
We now operate three high speed vessels, employ multiple full and part-time captains, and have grown to more than 2400 members. We also continue to build our fleet and equipment so that we may service you better, faster, and more efficiently. Without you and your support, Sea Tow Eastern Connecticut could never have come this far. Please tell us how we are doing so that we can continue to provide you with the best towing coverage on the water.
